Long ago, when modems were slow, (think acoustic coupler and 300 baud) and the screen was green, Ben started his journey in IT. During that time he mainly focused on networking and management sans the time at VMware where he has been an Enterprise SE. That’s not to say Ben hasn’t been known to muck around with coding, 3D printing, electronics, etc… Bottom line, he enjoys technology and bacon, and all the opportunities they have brought him for the last few decades.

On the personal side Ben has a fantastic family.  They live in Wisconsin and have a dog, cat, and chickens… apparently only for the eggs he’s told, but then.. they go with the bacon. Ben is always tinkering with something in the barn and have a penchant for building/modifying machines to do the “hard” work.
