Course Overview
The Multi-Cloud Livefire: Architecture & Design course is aimed at enabling VMware’s field teams and partners to understand the challenges of designing Multi-Cloud environment. Using a detailed case study, attendees will utilize VCF as the primary tool to design a Private Cloud solution which makes extensive use of the vRealize Suite, followed by extending into VMware Cloud on AWS to form a Hybrid Cloud Solution. Attendees will further design/extend the customers environment to encompass an integrated Multi-Cloud solution to allow seamless deployment of modern applications, leveraging VMware Cloud Services. Lastly, they will design a management and monitoring solution to meet the needs of the customer. Individuals will exit this course with the confidence and competence necessary to successfully design a complex Multi-Cloud in a customer production environment.
Course Objectives

By the end of the course, you should have the overall knowledge to meet the following objectives:

• Identify common challenges to deploying a VVD/VCF focused infrastructure in a brownfield location

• Design a Private Cloud using VMware Validated Designs & VMware Cloud Foundation

• Design a VMware Cloud on AWS environment and integrate it with the Private Cloud

• Design appropriate network connection to the Private Cloud from VMC on AWS and design for HCX

• Design a Kubernetes environment to support automated and rapid deployments of Kubernetes clusters and Cloud Native Applications

• Design an infrastructure and cloud application monitoring environment

• Converse fluently with SEs and SMEs to ensure that design decisions match technology capabilities

• Articulate the architecture, operations, implementation, and integration of VMware Hybrid Cloud into a moderately complex Hybrid Cloud infrastructure
